A document is a representation of an object. It could be an e-commerce product, blog post, new article etc. There is a size limitation for each document and it cannot exceed 100kb in size.
There are 3 different types of API calls that our app provides. Autocomplete API call, Search API call and Indexing API call. A query is equivalent to a single Search API call. You will be able to see all logged API calls in 'API Operations' section in our console app.
We provide JavaScripot code snippet that uses two cookie variables; one is used for a visitor and the other one is used for a particular visit. By default, we collect search related events, however this functionality is customizable. You will be able to see all collected information in 'Tracking Log' section in our console app.
It depends on the implementation method. If you use API, then data is updated in real-time after every API call. If you use BigCommerce App or Shopify App, products are updated automatically (also real-time) via webhooks.
